This week, lithium hydroxide prices continued to show weakness from last week, with a limited MoM decline. On the production side, companies that underwent maintenance mid-month have resumed production, and overall industry output has returned to previous levels. Sentiment-wise, upstream players are refusing to budge on prices, with spot orders holding firm at current average prices or at a premium; coupled with tight spot supply, the actual transaction center for downstream buyers has passively shifted upwards. This has resulted in a limited decline in lithium hydroxide prices despite significant drops in lithium carbonate and lithium ore prices.
